PSA achieves historic milestone, surpassing 100 million TEUs in a year
PSA International has achieved a new annual container handling record of 100.2 million TEUs across its global terminals. This Group achievement includes a historic milestone as PSA surpassed 100 million TEUs handled in a single year for the first time.
PSA’s flagship terminal in Singapore reported a record throughput of 40.9 million TEUs, representing a 5.5% growth, while PSA terminals outside Singapore contributed 59.2 million TEUs, translating to a 5.7% increase. Overall, PSA Group volumes increased by 5.6%, compared to the previous year.
Peter Voser, Group Chairman of PSA, said, “2024 has been a year of measured recovery for the global economy, shaped by ongoing geopolitical conflicts, trade tensions, national elections, fiscal pressures and fluctuating interest rates.
